International Association of Fire Fighters endorses Mike Levin for Congress

“Mike Levin is a national leader in efforts to control wildfires and protect neighborhoods.  Congressmember Levin played a significant role in passing the Wildfire Response and Drought Resiliency Act which included provisions he co-authored to increase the reliability and safety of our nation’s electric grid  in the face of worsening drought and wildfire. As we’ve seen with the recent disasters in Southern California, wildfire preparedness saves lives. Mike Levin has been a leader on this, and the IAFF is proud to stand with him.

Mike Levin has also successfully secured millions to help local firefighters, including funding for firefighting helicopters and to improve fire fighting capabilities at Camp Pendleton.
